Scholarship & Funding Program

Performing Arts Charitable Trust exists to support our youth in a variety of ways, and one of these is to foster and encourage students who intend to pursue a career or show passion and talent in some aspect of the performing arts.

To help support this concept PACT provide minor scholarships & funding throughout the year to help students achieve their goals.  

Annual Performing Arts Youth Scholarships

Lakes Charitable Trust Performing Arts Youth Scholarship 2020

PACT awards an Annual Performing Arts Youth Scholarship to a secondary school student of 16 years or over who resides in Rotorua and intends to enter Tertiary Education in his or her chosen field of the performing arts in the preceding year.

The overall winner of the award will receive $500

Vocals/Music Scholarship 2020

PACT awards an Annual Vocal/Music Scholarship to a secondary school student of 16 years or over who resides in Rotorua and intends to enter Tertiary Education in his or her chosen field of the performing arts in the preceding year.

The overall winner of the award will receive $250

PACT awards an Annual Dance Scholarship to a secondary school student of 16 years or over who resides in Rotorua and intends to enter Tertiary Education in his or her chosen field of the performing arts in the preceding year.

The overall winner of the award will receive $250

PACT awards an Annual Speech & Drama Scholarship to a secondary school student of 16 years or over who resides in Rotorua and intends to enter Tertiary Education in his or her chosen field of the performing arts in the preceding year.

Application Requirements

To apply for scholarship a CV and Application will need to be submitted and should include the following details:

Personal Details: Name; Address; Phone; E-mail; Age; Secondary School attended.

Category Of Performing Arts Training To Date: Music; Dance; Theatre; Other (state)

Performance Experience To Date: Exams passed; Practical (performance); Other (state)

Planned Tertiary Education: Enrolled for 2020; Applications made.

 

Briefly state your plans or aspirations for a career in the performing arts, and how your experience so far is helping towards achieving your goal
